Natural Remedy for Chronic Insomnia and Adrenal Fatigue

Can’t sleep? That was Tammy’s long-term problem. For years she had struggled, unable to turn off the many thoughts racing through her mind at night. Even with daily exercise and feeling physically tired, she simply could not fall asleep without hours of restless anxiety and then could only sleep 3 to 4 hours before waking to more of the same. Tired of multiple prescription sleeping pills and their side effects, Tammy was desperate for something that worked without making other problems worse.

Multiple studies show that sleep problems set the stage for weight gain, diabetes, adrenal fatigue, fibromyalgia, autoimmune disease, and certain cancers. Because of this, I encouraged her to support a natural sleep rhythm by daily spending some time outdoors in the bright sunlight, preferably with 10 to 20 minute outdoor walks after each meal.  She was also encouraged to schedule regular meals and always eat breakfast.

A 4-hour Glucose & Cortisol Tolerance Test found that she had significant adrenal fatigue. To rebuild her adrenal reserve capacity, I suggested Tammy use Adrenal Young Advanced, with breakfast and lunch. In addition we used Glycemic Foundation to prevent both high and low blood sugars.

Because Tammy’s goal was to minimize her need for prescription sleeping pills, I encouraged her to start YoungMax Sleep – an amazingly helpful supplement. It contains all natural ingredients that pass the blood brain barrier, and promote smooth muscle relaxation in the central nervous system by combining therapeutic levels of seven key sleep inducing herbs and nutrients.

Within a few days, Tammy was falling asleep within 30 minutes of bedtime and sleeping at least six hours without waking up. Soon, with this combined treatment plan, Tammy was feeling better than she had in over 10 years. Now she had the energy to effectively address the things that previously promoted her anxiety. Within the first month Tammy’s fatigue decreased from a 9/10 to a 4/10. By the end of 3 months her fatigue was down to 2/10 and her chronic pain had improved dramatically.
